Unified Planning Work Program

The WWW Interstate Planning Commission develops a Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) for each fiscal year that addresses emphasis areas identified by federal, state, and local agencies while continuing to refine and build upon programs initiated in previous years. WWW staff is committed to providing the work effort necessary to maintain a successful transportation planning program that fulfills the metropolitan planning requirements established under the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
