Horizon 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan

The Horizon 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) update was approved by the Policy Board on September 16, 2026, it will serve as the comprehensive transportation plan for the WWW planning area. The plan identifies multimodal transportation needs through 2050 and provide recommendations to improve system efficiency, functionality, and connectivity. These recommendations include construction of new facilities, enhancements to existing infrastructure, and improved connections between all transportation modes.

Projects and strategies included in the plan were developed through public and stakeholder engagement, along with extensive analysis of related plans and publicly available data. The LRTP is is structured to be implementable. Each project will include cost estimates are prioritized based on realistic funding projections and anticipated timeframes.
